History of the Library:

• The library of the Municipality was created in 1983 and was originally operated in a room at the A' Elementary School of Agios Dhometios untill 1989.
• Later on was moved to a municipal building near the church of Saint George (Agios Georgios) untill 1992.
• On January 1993 was given to the Municipality of Agios Dhometios with 3,000 tomes in total.
• The Municipal Library started official operation at the Municipality on June 1993 and since then is growing in material size and variety on a regular basis.

Library's Hours:

Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 3:00 p.m - 6:00 p.m

 

Library's Regulations:

• In order to borrow a book(s) you have to apply for a membership card that once you obtain you would have to bring with you every time you use the library.
